Vaughan crash: Man faces 18 charges after 3 siblings, grandfather killed

A 29-year-old man faces 18 charges, including impaired driving and dangerous driving causing death, after three siblings and their grandfather died in a horrific crash north of Toronto on Sunday afternoon.
Two women are also in stable condition in hospital after a minivan carrying six people, including the children and their grandfather, was struck by a black SUV at the intersection of Kirby Road and Kipling Avenue north of Kleinburg just after 4 p.m. ET Sunday.
Marco Muzzo, 29, of King Township was driving a separate vehicle and will appear today in a Newmarket, Ont., court.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the Neville-Lake family. CBC News has confirmed that the victims are:
- Daniel, 9.
- Harry, 5.
- Milly, 2.
- Their grandfather, 65, who was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn't been released yet.
- 2 adult women who suffered serious injuries and are now listed in stable condition. Their relationship to the other victims is not yet confirmed.
Following are the charges faced by Muzzo:
- 4 counts of impaired driving causing death.
- 4 counts of driving over the legal limit.
- 4 counts of dangerous driving causing death.
- 2 counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
- 2 counts of driving above the legal limit causing bodily harm.
- 2 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Two people riding in a third vehicle involved in the crash were not hurt.
Paramedics and firefighters performed CPR on four people at once after the crash. Some of the first responders were offered special counselling.
"Any time you involve children and multiple patients being extricated, obviously it takes a major toll on the firefighters' mental health," said Deputy Chief Andrew Zvanitajs of Vaughan Fire and Rescue.
