He may be right. It's not so much the Jewish vote, which is very small, but the Evangelicals, most of whom support Israel. So he is playing the correct political card.

I have said before that in US black Christians have to build their own churches because whites wouldn't allow blacks. It is a society divided between white and black Christians. Please note that Obama is member of a black Christian church.
