Dr. Cheddi B. Jagan - In office
9 October 1992 – 6 March 1997

We must remember our fallen hero as though he's still alive. He was a true leader to the Guyanese nation in his time. His memory will give us the hope that our fight to regain our democracy would not be in vain. His legacy lives through our young and brilliant leader, Dr. Bharat Jagdeo, that will carry the mantle of hope for all of Guyana.

The first seed was planted in early 1945 by Cheddi Jagan, who, in an article wrote: “It therefore behooves the working class people to get control of government through their constitutional ballots in our forthcoming elections, with a view towards complete independence.”

Nah, he was some lil petty agitator of criminality and racism, got high on his own supply and likely did not pay his handlers!
