1) His contract was obtained illegally, since it was not approved by the University Council. The university regulation is clear, academic staff reaching the age of retirement (age 60), seeking re-employment with the university must have the approval of the Council;
2) The UG Council unanimously agreed to address this illegality by terminating the contract. Why did this illegality occur in the first place?
