Why should they? The OAS observers pointed out some issues.

The results that the PPP is trying to convince Guyanese are accurate, hence the hold up.

The US ambass said it was a very good, the OAS said, the APNU has a different opinion. They know the results, they will see and validate. If problems arise, there are the courts.

Boloney, they said there were minor issues for not to compromise the outcome and integrity. You guys hoping for some crap to jump and do your thing. It aint going to happen, to back to your jobs tomorrow, it's over, we will have a hand-cuffed PPP, plain and simple.

The issue is that the PNC lost the elections and are now resorting to plan βbβ. The International Observers need to act now, something I believe they will do.

[, the OAS said,
Pointed out several issues, most disturbingly the fact that there was poor transparency in the handling of the ballot boxes and so they cant swear to the full integrity of the process.
This is in addition to the fact that all of the observers noted how the PPP monopolized state owned resources blockimng freedom of expression by granting equal access to opposition parties and viewpoints.
APNU has gone to the courts, I will hope with proof and not a belief.

the issue is that African/Mixed Guyanese are tired of an Indian dominated dictatorship and this is something that the PPP had better learn to deal with. Guyana does NOT BELONG TO INDIANS ALONE!!!!

Gecom officials are doing a fine job to making sure the election count and result is accurate before any announcement.

True, they did have the prelim count so we shoud have clarity. Like you, I want it to be fair and correct. Actually, just us 8,000 and you keep 12k and we move on...deal?

The point is that if most Guyanese voted APNU, AFC and other parties and not the PPP the PPP should not be allowed to continue their dictatorship. Yes they won but quite likely not with more than 50%.
Of course the AFC wasnt able to snatch away too many Indian votes as I suspected would be the case.

Caribj, Afros were tired of Indian rule since 1992. Come on, move on man. Now Caribj, remeberm they could deal with AFC and leave APNU out if you play bad. So behave yuhself.

You helped, Nomination day goonism and beating the PPP out of Buxton and Victoria hurt us with the newly converted. APNU was the PPP's best friend. Can we asume it was the hoodwink for the money they gave you to run your campaign?

Caribj, Afros were tired of Indian rule since 1992. .
And the last 19 years have proven their fears correct.
But you wish them to accept their oppression. No wonder they couldnt support an AFC run by ex PPPites who carry this mentality with them.

Another excuse. Hmmmm. Hooliganism against Indians under the PPP. They did nothing to protect them. So Indians vote PPP in again. Brilliant thinking.
Sorry that excuse will not work. You ignored blacks and you couldnt get most of the Indians to try something new. You need toa dmit it and move on.
AFC supporters lived in a fantasy land and cursed out all those who tried to bring them back to reality. Well I thought you all could pull at least 20%.
Well the PNC beat my 35% forecast and its looks like the PPP also beat my 45%. Its the AFC which failed to deliver. Suck you wounds and stop blaming the world. You failed to convince them.
Just hope the PPP gets their 49% and so cant dictate any more and then move on.
