The Police say that they are investigating an incident which occurred today at about 2 pm at Chief Justice Roxane George’s residence involving two police ranks attached to the said residence.

Enquiries disclosed that the two ranks were on duty when one left the hut and went into the washroom. There, she was confronted by a man with a white jersey tied around his face and armed with what  appeared to be a black handgun. The said male approached the rank and pointed the object at her and fired a punch at her but missed her. The police release said that she then  called out for the other rank who was in the garage of the building and  armed with a .38 revolver.  The rank having heard the call for help went out to see who it was when the intruder pointed the object at him causing the rank to take cover.  The intruder then dropped the object and ran in a northern direction and jumped over a fence and made good his escape.

No shots were fired and no one was injured, the police said.

The object was picked up and is suspected to be toy gun.  Same was lodged.

An investigation is ongoing.

People have been killed for this type of action. They did not know this until the toy gun was recovered.

Rochelle and Seignet said that things like this are going to happen if the PPP wins. The PNC can't run a government but can create trouble in order to make the country ungovernable. Their supporters blame the PPP for everything that the PNC did wrong or instigate.
