Nah, dem too hot to handle. The strategy will be to ring-fence Iran and squeeze it into rebellion. Syria would more like be in the cross hairs. I'm not sure how this will play out with the US out of Iraq. Iran suddenly have a much much larger playing fiend. I believe Iran will pull out of the NPT and do a nuke test if it sees isolation and a pending attact.

While it is true that Iran needs a swift kick up their rear, I don't believe that the US has reason or the will power to do so. Look for an Arab spring type of overthrow of the madmen that run that nation.
