In reality, the nuclear weapon against the US is the dropping and replacing the dollar for any other currency. Countries that the US has destroyed are those that are certain point in time decided not to use the dollar and instead asked to be paid in other currencies or in gold.

The first country to drop the dollar was Iraq so it got destroyed,for using this weapon of mass destruction. Iran was second and since then it became part of the axes of evil. However, Iran is too strong to face it in a direct manner that's why the strategy has been that of destroying Iran's friends first in the hope that this will weaken the nation and force it to accept the dollar and sell it for worthless green paper notes. Other countries using the nuclear weapon against the US include China, Russia, Japan, Brazil, but the US will deal with the at the right time, one by one as they have done with the Muslims.

Countries are running away from the dollar because they know the only thing backing the dollar is the US military.
