Mr. Ali went on to say that the PPP is now very transparent and their upcoming  new manifesto which is in the  making  is now opened for suggestions and contributions from all.

Try GT Indians.   And many were voting for the AFC even before Nagamootoo joined.

All you need to do is to compare the Region 6 2011 results with 2015 and note that all of the increase in votes went to the PPP.  Even as the Coalition saw an increase in votes elsewhere when compared to the combined APNU and AFC votes of 2011. Given that 1/3 of the population of Region 6 is black or mixed, and I see no evidence that their behavior differs from the rest of the country, it is quite clear that the increase in voter turn out from these blocs was offset by Indians defecting from the AFC back to the PPP.

The question will be how GT Indians vote and given that this is a soft bloc for the PPP its where the Bibi type of frustration might most manifest in not voting.

This is true.  The sad part is that I predicted it BEFORE they assumed gov't given that I saw and still see the PNC as a party of idiots (still suffering from the destruction wrought on their brains by Burnham) and the AFC as a bunch of ambulance chasers.

It was amazing that as soon as they assumed power they displayed levels of arrogance that led one to believe that they didn't think that they would ever face the electorate. And that they didn't understand the built in advantage that the PPP enjoys with its dominance of the Indian and Amerindian votes.

Burnham destroyed every race not only blacks. The Portuguese who had successful businesses in Gt,  closed up and had to run to Canada.

I have maintained  that Blacks suffered more than Indians under the Burnham dictatorship.

Indians took advantage of the banned items and started to to farm and produce local products. One good example, The people of Bath Settlement on the West Coast Of Berbice . Every household in that predominantly Indian village started to plant schallots when Burnham banned onions. In one year time, the entire village had new houses. In the adjoining Villages, where blacks was living, the condition was like night and day. They did not farm and the rest is history. Both the Kabaka and Dr. Reid (who hailed from a farming village on the Essequibo) pointed that out to PNC members at No 28 Village GOV'T SCHOOL AT ONE OF OUR West Berbice Meeting. Dr Reid told the Africans that they are lazy, the PNC gave them jobs and when they come home in the afternoon, they do nothing.

Indians from the Corentyne took advantage of the banning of food items and Corriverton became the unofficial capital of Guyana.

So where is the disagreement then?  He destroyed blacks and undermined efforts by those who wished to be independent. He chased out the black middle class in the same way as he chased out the Portuguese because he saw these as a threat to his domination.

Rather than encouraging the black grass roots at a minimum to maintain the level of self sufficiency that they had displayed in the colonial era he rewarded them with party patronage. This to render them dependent on him. By the 70s Buxton was a shadow of what it was in the 40s and 50s.

And those blacks who were entrepreneurial enough to attempt to take advantage of his destroyed economy as you say that Indians did, he went after with a sledge hammer.  That is unless they were part of his PNC inner circle.

Given the ravages of the post slavery colonial era, where plantation oligarchs set out to undermine efforts by blacks to become successful farmers and petty traders, blacks became risk averse and dependent on jobs in the public sector.  If Burnham really cared about blacks he would have fostered the development of an independent black business sector much as we now see in many of the majority black Caribbean islands.  This to unravel what the colonial era had done to their self confidence.

The last thing that Burnham wanted was the rise of a prosperous black business class. He hated that with all the venom that those in the colonial era did.

The fact remains that blacks in Guyana and T&T are less entrepreneurial than their counterparts in places like Grenada, Barbados and Jamaica.  You can blame the PNM and the PNC for that.

Scream and cry as much as you will but the inroads that the AFC made in Regions 5 and 6 in 2011 were gone in 2015.   Rural Indians cannot deal with the prospect of a black dominated government and you know that fully well.  In 2011 they saw Nagamootoo as a head of the AFC.  By 2015 they saw him as a PNC stooge. Look how the PPP clowns here boasted about how poorly the AFC did in Ramjattan's and Nagamootoo's villages in 2015.

Interesting that you blame everyone from Chinese, whites, coolies and maybe the natives for the economic status of Guyanese negroes. Yes this is funny.  They gave people those jobs to buy their support and dying loyalty and buttressing the ethnic triumphalism of the day. Then when the people decided that doing nothing all day in a gov't office and screaming YSM nonsense and terrorizing senior civil servants was a good life then the PNC calls them lazy.

Yes they became "lazy" when the PNC ran out of cash to maintain a bloated civil service and rather than admitting to their error they blamed black people.  They could have rewarded the most enterprising farmers in the black villages, but instead they hired their sons away from them to become YSM nuisances singing "Burnham songs" all day.  What was rewarded was laziness.  Those who focused on working hard and accumulating wealth were accused of being "capitalists" and "having a colonial mentality".

The population needs to cease being corrupt. Stakeholders need to cease being corrupt.  Guyanese are corrupt through and through which is why the country is so sordid.  I can think of no other nation in the English Caribbean where someone can steal someone else's property while it is being occupied merely by bribing someone to change title ownership.

The PPP and the PNC are corrupt because Guyanese allow them to be. NO WAY that this would be allowed in Barbados.

The Coalition votes aren't  from PPP strong holds, it's from their strongholds, APNU/AFC  can win the Elections easily by encouraging their supporters to turn out in full force. The percentage of turnout in PPP stronghold are larger than the Coalition's turnout.

your tune is stale, check the needle to your turntable is stuck on the same track. Every day you cry that the PPP supporters hate blacks, with no evidence of this.

He is still enslaved,  cannot think on his own, under the White Massa control.

Nonsense, when I ever stated that blacks in general are lazy and criminals?  You got me mixed up with some boogie man who haunts you at night.

When Karen Abrams set up robotics training for Guyanese kids and then brought them to DC where they did reasonably well you wept and wailed.  So desperate were you to discredit her that you roamed all over internet.

Just because she was a black woman.

And this was after your howls and hysteria about the numbers of Afro Guyanese success stories that your being posted in various places.

A successful black angers you.  Yes this is how Nazis behave.

PS. Dont tell me that it was the "other" druggie.

Carib J stop the hating , come and listen what he has to say.

Chief I will let you beat your tassa drums and scream "we tek back de government from black man".   If that is what you want to do I will not stop you.

Irfaan Alli has NOTHING to say that I wish to hear.  Just now you will be exhorting me to listen to Donald Trump.

Your broad brush of racism and hate has  no limit.

The mere fact that you use the phrase " beat my tasha and awee on tap" to Chief shows that racism has eaten away at your brains.

Where have you ever see me make a post about Indian superiority?

Love to you and hopefully you can find some peace by looking the Super Bowl this evening.

Don't remember the details or if I even made such a post as you claim. Pull up the post and I will entertain you on behalf of the previous druggie if possible.

So disclose one reason why most of these idiots here have always been blind PPP supporters.

And be honest when you do so.  Yes the same ones lambasting blacks on the thread that Ray closed this morning.

Now if you wish to dwell in the same nest as those pests you're welcome.

Irfaan has NOTHING to say that I am interested in hearing. His selection is evidence of the nasty nature of Jagdeo and you are a fool if you think otherwise. And that is me being mild.

You fully well remember because you went on for pages and pages, just as you did in your attempt to deny that Africans were competent rice cultivators.  I guess you will deny that one too.  Yes this was another scream from you about how lazy blacks would starve without Indians.

You are evidence of this with your incessant ranting of black laziness and criminality.  If this is evidence that PPP supporters love blacks I would hate to see what hatred is.

Nonsense, when I ever stated that blacks in general are lazy and criminals?  You got me mixed up with some boogie man who haunts you at night.

I've been here  along time. He is the only one I can recall that makes that statement.

Not going to do so.  You fully well remember but are just to embarrassed to speak on it.

Now resume your dreams about aubergine noire, or are you about to pretend that you didn't introduce this topic into GNI.

You can also continue to scream that all Guyanese blacks who live in Brooklyn live on food stamps and section 8.  And that your black relatives live off your charity and that they see you as a fountain of wisdom while they live in their Newark projects.  When your wife beats out your brains you can commiserate with prashad about how bad black women are.
