China continues to pour  in forces and artillery units behind their forward positions to the two areas and the talks with India to resolve the issue continues to fail. Prashad estimates that there are now between 50 to 60 thousand Chinese forces facing 12 thousand Indian forces in the areas.

Indian and Chinese troops were engaged in aggressive posturing in the last 20 days.

India and China always have some skirmish along the border, can't say much on the current situation since its still developing. One thing I'm pretty confident of, India is not going to just roll over and cede any territory to the Chinese.

India and China are talking to each other.  There isn't going to be any war. 

This situation is different. It can easily escalate into a shootout and worse. These are not Guyanese Chinese these are China Chinaman. Never trust them. India should send more artillery units to the borders and keep a build up of forces at the ready.

If India should send more artillery units to the borders, it would be construed as an act of hostility as they has previously agree to a dialogue.

Russia  has a deal in place to defend India in the event that India should be attacked by China.    

The whole situation was a misunderstanding.

In the 1961 Indo-Sino war both the Soviet Union and USA were prepared to send their Air forces to protect India. That was why China withdrew from Indian territory.
