Solomon named APNU campaign manager for Region 10

Chairman of Region Ten, Sharma Solomon has been appointed campaign manager for APNU in that area for the upcoming May 11 general elections.

Solomon’s appointment comes in the wake of a motion put forward by Region Ten at the PNC Congress last year, calling for solutions to serious differences between Congress Place and the PNC membership in Region Ten. The major differences include, the appointment of former PNC member of Parliament Sandra Adams as the Party’s coordinator for the Region shortly after her return to the country from a protracted sojourn in the United States, the suspension of Vanessa Kissoon, MP, from the Party following differences with the Party’s General Secretary Oscar Clarke and the rejection of delegates from Region Ten from the Party’s biennial conference in 2014. Another concern of PNC members and supporters in Region Ten is an apparent indifference by the party hierarchy to its former General Secretary and member of parliament, Aubrey Norton.

The P.N.C has kicked the UF to the curb, the P.N.C had kicked the W.P.A to the curb, the P.N.C would most definitely kicked the A.F.C to the closet curb.

If the AFC / APNU Alliance has no objection.....Solomon would be a perfect choice.

I do not see why the Alliance would object either.....but APNU have to work with Nigel from AFC who is very popular in Linden.

Seems like the Coalition will make a clean sweep at Linden. You seem nervous and wish that the coalition will encounter problems. You are dealing with an energized PNC and AFC. Clearly, your PPP folks are nervous, and should be.

Keep whistling loudly as you walk by the cemetery. The mood of the country is as it was in 1992, when people desperately wanted a change.

3 years ago the AFC LOST votes in Region 10. Nigel Hughes needs to focus on preventing Mark Benschop from making inroads into the young disenfranchised vote in G/town. I don't know that Granger has any pull with that element.

Mark can well end up being the spoiler who deprives the coalition of victory.

The limited support the PPP has are among those older stalwarts who admire Sam Hinds from his days when he courageously fought against Burnham. Given that he will not be on the ticket, it appears, I don't see what the PPP thinks they will get in Linden.

The issue in Linden is whether people will vote. Not which party they will vote for as the coalition will mop up at least 90% of the votes with no Sam Hinds as PM.

What has the PPP done to sustain Linden for them to think that they have appeal. They tossed Lindeners to the Chinese, who instantly reintroduced a 21st version of slavery.
