I was so disappointed at the small group at the Vigil. This Community is indeed selfish and the Drinkers who were at the Bars just yards away sipping their drinks and talking SHIT as usual should be ashamed at themselves. It could have been one of them!!!

I walked over 8 blocks in the cold to go there and show my support and I have not visited a Bar in 4 years.

Anyway, to each his own. I wish the Family all the best and thank those who showed compassion and humanity.

Bhai Vish was there as usual.

Nehru, I personally felt embarrassed with your statement here. Speaking the truth is not always the right thing to do.. Telling the world that our community is going to dogs the is worst. Even if there were four people attended, we need to applaud them and encourage them to be more proactive in future events. We need to speak little white lies to boost our people and the community as a whole. We need to stick together like garlic. We must not look to see who is coming or going, but to make sure your presence is there.

I have to salute Chief for never letting his people down in the Muslim community. Even when things are not going good, he will fight you down your throat to make believe everything is perfect. Why we can't be like Chief and others?

Vishnu is a selfless community leader. His work to the community has been tremendous thus far. Vishnu never looks for attention, but to reach the goal of his effort to give voice to the people in RH. Vishnu will brace the coldest winter night, or the hottest summer day to be the first on the front line.

Thank you, Vishnu!

Riffraff,

The pupose:-

This was the first fatality in NYC and the first death by gun violence.

We want to express our opinion to the entire city that this was not acceptable.

We also used the opportunity to request more parental engagement
