In a recent press conference the AFC stated in part that β€œThe Party has also dispatched a letter to A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) identifying Mr. Raphael Trotman, Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan, Mr. Clayton Hall, Ms. Cathy Hughes, Mr. Moses Nagamootoo and Mr. Gerhard Ramsaroop as their representatives to bilateral engagements between the two parties.
Meanwhile, Trotman, who was present at the party’s press conference, said he will not be running for leader of the AFC in the next biennial conference, as it is a conflict of interest for him to hold the position of Speaker and party leader simultaneously.
How can the Speaker retain his current Speakership position and be the party’s representative to bilateral negotiations. This is corruption, pure and simple.

Is that your idea of democracy? You don't like the results of this election so call another one in the hope that the outcome suits you. What if you don't get a majority again? Call another until you get a majority?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and wait six months to see what progress will be made for the sake of all Guyanese. Only then you guys will learn to appreciate what Jagdeo did for Guyana. You yourself would be calling for a re-election. It's nothing to be ashamed for supporting two good-for-nothing party who're like batty and poke. If you think the PPP was bad, you nah see nothing yet.
