The PPP will do what they did in 1964. Not mount a traditional coup.

The PPP will use all its power in the rice and sugar sector to squeezed the juices out of the economy, basically making it hard for President Granger to do big projects, but this government will stay in place until 2020.

There is no denying that the PPP is influencing most of the bandits that are roaming the country. Most of the hardware that is being used by these criminals were introduced to Guyana by PPP connected businesses and individuals.

Granger will focus production on the most profitable estates.  All others will be shut down. 

Much as the PPP planned to do but are criminals, so they will never say that.  tell me why LBI and Diamond where closed but then Wales shouldn't be.  It was long decided that sugar will be focused on Berbice estates, where the yields are highest.

If the PPP however decides to ruin the sugar industry by fomenting strikes, then the gov't will have to shut it down. If no sugar is being produced then what have they to lose?
