The PPP is in no position to destabilize the new government. They have been eclipsed in many different areas. Granger's forte is in the area of security. They did promise to eliminate crime. Ramjattan should be held accountable instead of trying to close down bar and nightclubs at 2AM because he has a drinking problem.

It is well know that drug trade can boost an economy but has major repercussions on society.  Jagdeo fully knows this BUT the man just don't care about Guyana.  All he care about is himself and friends yet all them coolie people running after him.

The Guyana police force is sickening.  Their response time to crimes should be fully scrutinized and they should be heavily penalized if they are at fault.

There are some very powerful people in the private sector who don't want to see the police force function well. I don't see how drug pushing can have a long term boost for an economy. Let us not consider the popping up of excess and idle buildings as long term success.  

Why?  Unless they are involved in the drug trade.  Police are not the ones responsible for investigating corruption.
