t might look like something from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – but this glass lift provides visitors with stunning views of China’s Huangheqiao Scenic Park.
The 88-metre outdoor lift, located in China’s Hubei province is part of a 10 million RMB tourist drive by China’s government– and provides riders with stunning views of the valleys below.
Unsurprisingly, it has proved popular with photographers since opening at the end of 2013 – providing them with the opportunity to capture some stunning views of the park’s landscape.
But while it is undoubtedly impressive, the lift is still overshadowed by the Bailong Elevator in China’s Hunan province –which extends a lofty 330 metres up a cliff, and is recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s tallest outdoor lift.
