If they don't leave, PNC will force them out.
After a successful vote count for the PPP, they will have to graze in the dry pasture. Political Garbage.
They are both in Schitt's Creek. Their bank accounts and assets are in the US where their children live.

They better follow the move that Dominic Gaskin made to protect their foreign interests.
They have gone past their “Best before” date.
The AFC and Khemraj Ramjattan operated as a CBJ version of the PPP-dominance of the leader. Failure to induce new ideas and thoughts.
Moses Nagamootoo has the opinion he is Guyana's senoir politician and he has a following. With that in mind, he railroaded the AFC into believing he could be a partner with the PNC and negotiate political stances. The PNC is only about ehnicity.
CBJ is believed to have fought against injustices. I doan ever remember him doing that. The movement GUARD was the organization that tried to do that. CBJ realizing he was being left out, used senoir politician status and infiltrate the leadership of the organization and destroyed its motives. Replaced as CIVIC just as he did to the MPCA with GIWU and the BGEIA which lost its interactions with the Indian communities with creation of PAC/PPP.
This supposed great leadership of CBJ failed miserably to forsee the fiasco that were are faced with today. And even his two protogees, Ramjattan and Nagamootoo failed to see it too, even Jagdeo failed to see it too.
What does that say about Cheddie B. Jagan.
He was a good dentist?

Siggy, that's your interpretation. You're entitled to it. Bearing in mind there are other interpretations.

That is the reason for the delay. They are afraid of a PPP win.
They are also afraid of a backlash from Caricom Leaders who supported them in the past but are not supporting them now.
Nothing conjured up. CBJ in his book the West on Trial said it all about the MPCA and the BGEIA. On the the BGEIA, he was the first to claim the leadership was preduiced. On the GUARD movement, Paul Tennesse was vocal about his actions and splitting of the movement. Proof of their ignorance towards Sam Hinds, juss ask any black person.
Nagamootoo claims he was to be selected the President for a PPP government.
Ramjattan is an arrogant person, just as CBJ.
Jagdeo is not a Patriot, if he were, he be a statesman and find a solution. All he wants is to govern because he claims he has the majority of votes.

Rama, all of that do not mean anything to a desperate ppl. Individuals that have respect for law and order finds a solution to complecated issue.
With Interantional help, Afro-Guyanese governed for 28 years.
With International help the Indo-Guyanese governed for 23 years.
About even.
International players have nothing substantive to offer as a solution to Guyanese dilemma. It is very serious, juss read comments on scocial media.
Many have siad, the ballot is not the answer. Cheedie son said so, Cheddie himseld paid lip service to it, Granger said so.
This is the time for it.

In a 2007 video interview at Freedom House, JJ said Cheddi was very upset at Indians parents asking him to place gold on their daughter's teeth before marriage. He had to grind and destroy good teeth to fit the gold caps, that would eventually got infected by trapping food particles.
She also said, one of their best non political achievements as a couple, was teaching Indian parents, by showing them magazines of women with attractive original teeth and discouraging them from the gold caps.
Ramjattan and Nagamootoo could step away from politics now and live comfortably. Can't say if their private practices would be of any use to either at this point. But the election results are not yet in so I suppose they just have to stick around in the event of an APNU win. Even so, scraps thrown to them by Granger would be sufficient. As I see it, they both have no say in this coalation Govt. Never did. But drowning rats would clutch at any straw.

Regarding lawyers in Guyana, politics does play a part in them getting clients. We wanted to buy a building and told the seller to see a lawyer who will process the documents for free. But politically, the seller did not like the lawyer and went to another, where they had to pay.
I don't believe Nagamootoo and Ramjattan are concerned about returning to their practice full time, if they are no longer in the government. They served long enough for a good pension.
