It's been 12 days since the last public sighting of first lady Melania Trump, who had been planning on splitting her time between Washington and New York, where the couple's son, Barron, is completing the school year.
And when a solemn scene unfolded Wednesday afternoon as Trump boarded Marine One to pay his respects to a fallen service member's family in Delaware, he was accompanied by first daughter, Ivanka -- a reminder that she is his closest family in Washington.
Melania is the mom a special needs child. She stays close home.

Throughout the entire campaign until we last saw Melania, it was like Donald and her were playing a role on a soap opera or movie. They seemed so distant, cold like ice, and people said it seemed like he held her hostage. Oh the lives of the rich and famous...

I see the pattern of dutty minds threading on filth about a father and his daughter. I didn't think this was a debatable topic, but is was set like trap with honey to catch flies. If eyes could rape Ivanka, all of you would be behind bars, except for Bibi.

Donald to Melania: 'I'm paying you to put up a show till I become President. Then you disappear, and leave me and my daughter to carry on our sordid lives. You keep your mouth shut about all this. Every woman in the world will die to be you.'

Ivanka's mother was born and grew up in the Czech Republic before emigrating to the USA.
Melania was born and grew up in Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia, before emigrating to the USA.
