It should be noted that Guyana Stores Ltd was sold, in October 2000, for US$6M of which US$4M was reported (unnverified) as received with the remaining sum to be paid by September 2002. However, eleven years later, this amount still remains outstanding.

The National Paint Comapany was privatised. There was an outstanding balance of US$900,000 outstanding on the purchase price.
Did Ramotar/Jagdeo made this a gift their cronies?

Then there is the money from NIS that Jagdeo gave to Lawrence Duprey in some shady Florida real estate deal which bankrupted NIS under the watch of Mr Ramoutar.

That man threatened to sue us for commenting on this back on 2003. Then it was suggested that it was a case of insider dealings and as it turned out it still smells so. I guess this is another one of those instances where the money will be deemed to be paid back through use of his stores by PPP functionaries as the case of Buddy's state welfare check per corrupt Jagdeo.quote:Originally posted by Mitwah:

I recall this was still an outstanding item on the Audit General's 2007 report.

I think I will make a poster with a fat ramotar made out of texts listing all the evils the PPP have done with two skinny Guyanese pulling it! This kind of thievery and insider trading of our resources impoverishes the whole society.quote:Originally posted by Mitwah:quote:Originally posted by D2:That man threatened to sue us for commenting on this back on 2003. These are the advertisements that the AFC needs to create and air them all over guyana so people can see the wholesale thievery going on.
You notice also that many of the PPP supporters the die hards I am talking about do not condemn this either?
