The Marriott was not meant to bring jobs. Most of the PPP projects are about opportunities for stealing, not net benefits to the nation. The PPP is addicted to kickbacks and stealing, and projects are approved based on the potential to make money, not the national interest. They are just framed as "development" projects. And when the Opposition asks for details and the details are hidden, and the Opposition votes against, the PPP says they are against development, when in fact, they are against the "fleecing of Guyana."
