According to reports, the wild animal was spotted moving between bushes in the back yard and a license firearm holder was summoned to the scene as residents feared for their lives.

As the animal emerged, the firearm holder shot it a number of times and eventually it collapsed and died. While some residents expressed gratitude to the licensed firearm holder, others said there should have been a move to preserve the animal’s life.  But most of the persons who gathered at the scene in Nicolay Street, New Amsterdam said the right call was made to kill the animal before it attacked anyone.

This is not the first time that these big strayed into residential areas, and it won't be the last.  definitely a danger to humans. Wish the Govt. had the ways and means to relocate these animals tho, rather than killing them outright.
Something needs to be done. Cyant keep killing freaky cyats like this seeing he got a soft spot for these animals.

When the PPP gave away big stretches of the jungle and dem Chinamen cutting down all the trees, is where these wild animals suppose to live? Of course they going to come and search for food and shelter where humans normally live. The PPP take the money designated for preservation of our jungle, and the poor animals get chased out. The new government needs to take care of business in the jungle before we have anything left to attract tourism.
