Guyanese don't have any method of preserving endangered species. If the animal strays into residential area, the people have a right to shoot it rather than the animal eat them.

This is not the first time that these big strayed into residential areas, and it won't be the last.  definitely a danger to humans. Wish the Govt. had the ways and means to relocate these animals tho, rather than killing them outright.

When the PPP gave away big stretches of the jungle and dem Chinamen cutting down all the trees, is where these wild animals suppose to live? Of course they going to come and search for food and shelter where humans normally live. The PPP take the money designated for preservation of our jungle, and the poor animals get chased out. The new government needs to take care of business in the jungle before we have anything left to attract tourism.

Looks like these animals have a shortage of prey making them come into the cities.  I hope this is not the first of several incidents.
