Just learnt that Mr. Winston Jordan might be facing jail time. It is my fervent hope that all other ministers, in the present govt, go through the same ordeal. Jail them with hard labor. This should help to stem the tide of corruption that is rampant, in Guyana.

I couldn't agree with you more. If Jordan goes to jail, the PPP members should be in jail as well. Look at me with a straight face and say that the PPP is free of corruption or any wrongdoing. Why Blackman corruption seems so wrong vs the dignified, coolie corruption under the PPP?
Mr. Rahaman kindly points me to one honest Indian in politics since Cheddi Jagan.
Quite correct Prince

There is allegation of corruption, but where is the evidence to jail these PPP ministers, itâs been 4 years plus since the Coalition Government took power with the promised to jail corrupt PPP officials.
But it looks like Ministers of the Coalition Government going to jail instead.
Personally, I would like to see a few of the PPP ex ministers go to jail.. it will send a message to anyone who thinks they can get away with thieving.
Please provide the AG with any evidence of corruption you may have Prince.
How are you, Cain. According to Mr. Rahaman, since I have been following his post he seems to dislike the PNC for their ways of governing Guyana but chose to give the PPP a pass on similar matters. Unfortunately, Mr. Rahaman cannot find political justice on any debate when he leans on one side. That said, it's hard for him to find anything wrong with the PPP. I, as an Indo-Guyanese, could sum up endless accounts of wrongdoings under the Jagdeo/Ramotar regime. But let me be fair to say that I know why they wanted the PPP back in power so bad. They think of it as the better of two evils. In reality, yes, but the PPP has engaged in corruption bigger and better than the PNC. Even Burnham got beaten at his own game.
Indeed, it would have been good for Guyana if the PNC had played by the rules after the NCM. It would have sent a very clear message that any government not working for the people would be immediately removed. Unfortunately, instead to facilitating that medium, the despotic PNC chose to do whatever they can to squat illegally and shamelessly in office. This wicked act alone has provided the vehicle for other governments to do the same and in the end, the people will be the ones suffering. Another act by the PNC that only solidify misery for all Guyanese.
No one gave the PPP any passes for their actions when they were in government. In fact, had it not been for many, yes many Indians, many traditional PPP supporters who 'voted' for the Coalition in 2015, the PPP would till be the government. That proves that many Indians did not give the PPP any passes. Now consider this, more than 99% of blacks support the PNC. If anyone is giving any party any passes, it is blacks giving the PNC passes. Like Cribby does. He only gets upset with the PNC when they don't give stuff to blacks.
Thiefing is thiefing. The only reason it looked like the PPP stole more is because there was more on the table. During PNC time, the country was bankrupt after the despotic PNC misused all of the country's resources. This second time around, the minute the PNC got back into government, they start braying that the treasury has no money. Wonder what suddenly happened to all that money? They certainly didn't give it to the rice farmers or teachers.
