Immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Assistant for a Fashion Company in Manhattan.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Correspond with customers as needed to facilitate collection of balances; follow-up with customers in a timely matter.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, warehouse, and customer.
- Provide monthly statement to customers.
- Process credit card payments.
- Issue credits for return authorization; ensure RAβs are processed accurately into inventory.
- Assist with order confirmation for International Orders.
- Issue and post manual credits; ensure proper documentation of credits.
- Communicate with warehouse to ensure COD and returns processed accurately.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Data Entry.
- Other duties and ad hoc administrative functions assigned as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Proficient with MS Excel.
- Experience with BlueCherry, a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized.
