"What blows my mind is the disparity of response between when we think people that are foreign are going to kill us and us killing ourselves. If this had been what we thought was Islamic terrorism… we invaded two countries, and spent trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives and now fly unmanned death machines over five or six different countries, all to keep Americans safe.

We’ve got to do whatever we can - we’ll torture people - we’ve got to do whatever we can to keep Americans safe. Nine people shot in a church, what about that? That’s the part that I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around."

Muslims: See white people can commit acts of mass murder too. Not just Muslims.

Is Jon part of the Allah brigade now

He's one of them left-wing whites who think Muslims need their social justice warrior efforts to alleviate their collective guilt for centuries of oppression of African-Americans and other minorities.

In their unique world, all brown skinned people are victims and whites are somehow our oppressors. I don't really need patronizing white liberal guilt.

WHy can't the US spend some of those billions on reparations?

Probably because all the slaves are dead. And the U.S. paid a price of about 600,000 dead Americans on American soil.

Wow! You compare our support for political organizations abroad to support for the Islamic State?

One man's "political organization" is another's terrorist organization. I don't support ISIS, and I have been on record as saying that they should be eliminated. That being said, my statement that that the US will back certain terrorist organizations as a matter of convenience...like when the Taliban was fighting Russia

I will adopt the reasoning of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. They made the differentiation between terrorists who target America and our allies and terrorists who don't. I endorse that view.

Every nation acts in its own self interests. Russia was a cold war enemy at the time and they were taking turf in afghanistan with an eye on the middle east. Reagan armed Bin Laden to fight against the russians. As you can see, Osama was very grateful to America for helping to drive russia from his land!
