The AFC/PNC squatters cannot oven build a toilet. Do you expect them to develop Guyana ?

These idiots are an embarrassment to Guyana and ALL Guyanese.

They cannot even run a cakeshop, how can these idiots run a country ?

They have pegged the life of a Guyanese at $ 500 U.S.

Guyana is getting ready for the big jubilee celebrations come May.

But is Guyana ready for such.

The airport need to have a couple of landing bridge.  Since, an airport

is the first thing that catches the eye of a visitor.

I hope that the Granger/Nagamotoo Administration roll up it sleeves.

There is quite a lot more to be done.

Barbados is regarded as being the best managed country in the Caribbean. It has no landing bridges.

The PPP wanted to build a humongous airport with 8 bridges, even though there are almost never more than 3 jets on the ground at any one time.

St Maarten is one of the busiest terminals in the Eastern Caribbean (1.6 million arrivals, vs. GEO with 500k, which is LESS than Tobago) and has only 4 bridges.  Not every arriving jet needs a bridge.  Especially given that we have a poor record in maintenance.

Also the notion that GEO will become a major hub was a laughable joke. Piarco failed at this quest, and they are much better positioned than we are, with growing ties to Latin America, and much heavier traffic to North America and the rest of the Caribbean.

Supposedly 4 bridges will be built with a redesigned terminal building.  This is more appropriate to a nation, where over 80% of its geography remain completely inaccessible, and navigation aids over much of its territory remain almost non existent.
