Ray, as you well know, the PPP sends its misinformation agents to post the same item by different GNI members. Sometimes in the same hour, or on consecutive days or weeks. So responses to these duplicities can only be addressed effectively by reposting the same response. The Story about Glenn Lall and the GRA has been posted by multiple PPP agents in threads each individual started within a very short period of time. How does one respond against each agent, without repeating the same response to the same original post?  

He has a right to. This is about the the 4th thread thread on Lall (and I bet there are more) and his supposed backhanded way in acquiring the use of the vehicles he drive.

What is missing here is the vindictiveness and the use of underhanded tactic to intimidate Lall on his exposure of the Chinese destruction of our forests. The PPP and its army on the take from these corrupt deals do not care to make that public. To date we have not seen real numbers on log exports or why or the reason BaiShanLin gets to work other leases when land-lording is not permitted.

The fact is what is happening here is exactly what has been done elsewhere. The administration takes it upon itself to cover up the corrupt forestry practices by attacking critics. I bet Lall was driving those cars for years and no one had anything to say.

The use of the state institutions ie tax agencies as enforcement for the state is among the worse form of corruption in the society. This exactly what is occurring here. How the hell can the lords of PPP propaganda know these things if the fellow in that office and his offspring and kin did not spring into action to assist the corrupt PPP?

They did the same thing to Freddie, to Hughes and this has to stop. That fellow in the tax office should have his nepotistic ass on the streets for hiring his entire brood. It would be the case had he been in any other western nation. PPP corrupt practice seem  to know no limits!

A kangaroo court operated by a communist regime is not a reliable source of evidence. As is well known, the GRA has failed to investigate any political crime. They don't want to bite the hands that pay the bribes. Which minister or his/her family ever paid taxes for anything they imported directly? Not a single one. The GRA has no invoices to support any payment made.

 What is alleged corruption? There is no court of justice here but the court of public opinion since the PPP are the crooks and they are the one needed to confirm the corrupt practice. However, we see the obfuscation on the contracts, the extent of the tax holiday ( who need a tax holiday to pillage a unique and scarce product!!!) or the third party deals. The PPP lied that there is more than one Chinese company. Tell that lie to the world who knows the Chinese companies are all state sponsored.

GRA are the crooks themselves so why would anyone look to them for clarity. They need to tell us what the hell they are doing or if the PPP loses half of those managing those offices should be thrown into jails.

These people are defending Glenn Lall like those people who defended rigged elections in Guyana. They all jumped to his defense because his newspaper has become a mouthpiece for those fighting for political power under the guise of fighting corruption. Polticians who rushed to the defense of corrupt individuals must be viewed with suspicion.

Where did anyone defend the man. It is just a matter of why he is in the predicament he is in....because he spoke to the national good. That they use the Tax Revenue office populated by one family speaks to the corruption here more than anything. If lall did a bad deed then he should be prosecuted. ¶1. (U) Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr. Roger
Luncheon called a meeting with Ambassador on short notice
March 3 to discuss the recent theft of weapons from a
Guyana Defense Force (GDF) storehouse (ref A).

¶2. (U) Luncheon gave Ambassador a copy of an October 19,
2005, memorandum from himself, as Secretary of the
Defense Board, to the Commissioner-General of the Guyana
Revenue Authority Khurshid Sattaur. The memorandum
provided customs clearance for the GDF to import five
Baretta pistols. These weapons, along with thirty-three
AK-47s, disappeared from the GDF warehouse sometime
between February 23 and 27.

¶3. (U) Luncheon said these pistols were imported by
Caribbean Cargo and Package Services (CCPS).CCPS is the
same company that imported a shipment containing three
firearms that was intercepted February 11 at Guyana’s
international airport (ref B).

never intended for the GDF. Instead, some unknown
purchasers of the weapons arranged for the military to
import and hold them until a warehouse “theft” could be
arranged to get them out.

Luncheon expressed deep
concern that he did not know how long this could have
been going on.

He referred repeatedly to the weapon
smugglers’ “nexus with the military”.

¶5. (U) Luncheon asked Ambassador if the U.S. authorities
could provide gun trace information for the five Baretta
pistols. The serial numbers are as follows:
