Keffer I hope you get your box of dry goods and get going. Those people who got expelled from Burma need your help as soon as possible.

Sad situation in Burma.
Sad situation indeed. It is ethnic cleansing.
I agree with Prash and Chief on the Burma issue per se, ie the military persecution of Rohingya Muslims.
At the same time, I think Prash is setting up his own thread for derailment by the way he addresses Keffer.
But I'm appealing to Keffer to reach for his higher nature and ignore the provocation.
Myanmar's Prime Minister should be condemned for allowing the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in her country. She is the holder of a Nobel Peace Prize and the Order of Canada. Some groups in Canada are already calling on the Trudeau government to take back the Order from that woman.
This is serious stuff. Those people could have been our relatives. If we had our own country then we could have taken some of them for resettlement.

Prash, you baiting Keffer at any and every opportunity you get heh? Sad situation of ethnic cleansing because they are muslims. Hope the world does not turn a blind eye on them.
I think Prash likes Keffer
I like keffer although I curse him and he viciously curse me out.
This report provides timely background info on the plight of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
The bastards in Myanmar are claiming those people are not Rohingya but Bangla and therefore do not belong there. Despite them living there for ages!!!
On this topic, all GNIers are in agreement.
I also hope the Bangle people in Bangladesh will also start being more humane. Many Bangladeshi told me it is difficult to live in Bangladesh as a Christian or Hindu.

Awards have no merits these days. Just like Bestowed Doctorates. Dey give Obama the Nobel Prize-for what.

Those ppl, mostly likely from East Bengal when it was India, dey doan look Burmese. Dey heading in the right direction though, Bangladesh. Let see how dem mattie goan treat dem.
I think Seignet is right but I am not 100 percent sure. These people probably moved to Burma from India when the British took control of India. British India also included Burma as part of India in those days.
