Interviews with these farmers were always about the unending  gratitude to the comrade leader, LFS Burnham. Workers and farmers would expressed thanks to the leader and praise his brilliant mind and political acumen for building a Guyana where all will be housed, clothed, and fed by the government of Guyana. There was no report of dissension or bad economic news. According the New Nation, Guyana, under Burnham was a socialist utopia.

One of the men who was running this propaganda machine for the PNC was Adam Harris who is now the editor of the Kaiteur News. Adam Harris was one of the big wigs with the infamous regime who enjoyed a comfortable life. These men instilled fear in the minds of the public and even those in the security forces.
