I read their story and if true speaks directly to what I call police corrupt practices. It is of little consequence that this man appears to be a sociopath. His injuries ought to have been identified by hospital staff and taken care of. He supposedly have xrays taken and if they do not indicate he had a rib broken and a punctured lungs and this happened at the police station, then someone there ought to be brought up on murder charges. A full investigation as to how and where the injuries occurred must take place. Again, he may be a criminal but he is still a person with rights. You maleducated fools may not get that fact but that is the prevailing condition in a democratic society. If only you did indeed have some smart. The reason there are constitutions is because we hold some things as self evident ie rights are non hierarchical and all falling under the rubric of persons are possessed of rights. These cannot be taken away except under special circumstances as an intervention of the law through an authoritative process. Police are not the law. They are agents of the law and as such must act within the law.
