APNU+AFC appalled at Kwame McCoy’s abuse of supporters and destroying property
The APNU+AFC Coalition is appalled at the behavior of and conduct by Office of the President employee and PPP official Kwame McCoy this evening in front of the APNU+AFC Campaign Headquarters on Crown Street in Queenstown.
McCoy led a group of PPP activists in painting political signs in front the APNU+AFC Campaign Office. This was highly inflammatory and provocative by McCoy and his team. Further this is flagrant breach of the Code of Conduct signed on to by the parties.
When challenged McCoy became not unusually belligerent, loud, aggressive, rowdy and boisterous. McCoy then proceeded to snatch a mobile phone belonging to an APNU+AFC volunteer and stomped on it in the street, causing the device to be seriously damaged.
The matter has been reported to the Alberttown Police Station. APNU+AFC calls on the police to fully investigate the matter to the fullest extent of the law.
