LABA and clubs meet to plan league and U-19 tournaments this evening

Clubs affiliated to the Linden Amateur basketball Association (LABA) are invited to a meeting this evening with the association from 18:00hrs at the Mackenzie Sports Club pavilion.
To be discussed will be the staging of the LABA 2017 Open League championship and an Under-19 tournament which could get underway by this weekend, according to a source close to the association.
The President, Secretary and coaches are to attend along with table officials and referees where they will hear of the immediate plans of the LABA with regards to competition during this holiday period.
President of LABA, Lawrence Simon, will be in charge of this meeting and it is hoped that the clubs attend as registration will be extended to Wednesday so that the fixtures for the tournaments can be prepared and get the competitions bouncing off.
