Police today issued a bulletin for a man wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Constable Jirbahan Dianand

Police said Mool Persaud Maniram c/d “Rakesh” is wanted for questioning in relation to  Murder committed on Police Constable 20682 Dianand on September 14, 2012.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Maniram is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers: 333-2191, 333-3876, 333-2151- 3, 225-2227, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station.

Maniram is 40 years old and his last known address is  Lot 72, Grant 1805 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne.

Maniram’s name had first surfaced in 2007 when police had issued a wanted bulletin for him in connection with the discovery of an illegal airstrip in the Corentyne area. It was discovered by the army with a burnt aircraft. Nothing came of this investigation.

Constable Dianand, a narcotics cop, was found in his car with two bullets to his head.

He was buried on September 20 with full military honours.

Several persons have been taken into custody as a result of investigations.

It was obvious from the outset of this case that the PPP was involved in the summary execution of that brave detective. Mool used his PPP connection to have the 2007 case stone walled and white washed from police investigations. But he is a big player in the drugs smuggling ring.

Mool is going to try to use his PPP links again to attempt to evade justice. But I suspect that he is going to pull a short straw this time. I can't see the police arresting him. More like executing him in turn.

The opposition behavior in Guyana is low class at best. Just look how they point fingers at the gov't for every malady found in the society. Imagine if Warrior Bowjie is caught with Drugs at the airport the PPP will be Culpable.

You jackass, you do not realise that the real PREZ today is not the DOTISH DUCK, but Jagdeo?

It is not an obsession , it is an exposure of the deception in Guyana.
