As for your heading, racism, and division in Guyanese culture has been built into us by the British system to divide and conquer, which is not the core feature of our political culture for decades. It's difficult to motivate change when the decades-old system is against you.

While this might be the case with the British , are you willing to make a commitment to eradicate racism .

While racism exists, it is also used by many to excuse their own actions making it seem worse than it really is.

Absolutely, yes. I have come to realize that our political system is stuck in a generational gap of racism and division that is difficult to escape. We as a people need to escape this culture of hate.

Citizens cannot love suffering.

The politicians are the same cabal of men and women from the 50s. Atleast in mentality.

It is a continuous play of Jagan and Burnham. See, Granger says he is a Burnhamist and as for Jagdeo, he is like Jagan, thinking there nobody like him, DICTATOR. Keeping abreast talented challengers.

I remember many times during jumah sermon back in the day, our imam would talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He may come up with a scenario where we left home to go to a particular place but see or hear of a commotion somewhere else and instead of steering away from that place, our curiosity takes us there where something unpleasant to us. His point was that we varied from our initial plans. There was a lot of pontification about racism last year when the white police officer shot and killed the black teenager as he tried to escape. The argument was centered on the fact that the teenager was shot as he drove off so he was not a physical threat to the police officer. While that is true, I don't know if anyone other than I thought that he would not have been killed had he not stolen the car in the first place. And while he was no longer a physical threat to that police officer, there is no guarantee that he was no longer a threat to anyone else. Now Carib will come after me for this observation but that fact still remain that it is accurate. The frenzy was more over racism and police brutality and not about folks who chose to have criminal behavior.

And God, gave them languages.

They separated, mongoloids, Negroids and Caussoids within their prescribed borders.

When the White People discovered that objects can float on water, they built boats. And their boats ferried them to any regions of the globe, thereby intermingling of races began. Exploitations.

White ppl accquired taste. Foods, Clothing and Jewelry, it became necessay for slaves to generate wealth to accquire such niceties. 

And then borders were redrawn for imperialistic splendor.

Racism across the world will change when America takes the lead. The world looks up to America.

I have travelled across America and saw blatant racism.  I saw Blacks living under conditions worse than third world countries.

Some affluent Black Americans become part of the "economic" system of wealth generation and forget their suffering brothers and sisters.

Look at many wealthy Black athletes, they choose a white woman trophy after achieving success. What example are they showing ?

This is a very complex topic and will require a very honest discussion.

BTW, all races are equal and created equally by God.

I have to disagree. I have officiated an MANY Indo Guyanese weddings in which highly qualified or Professional Indo females marry largely Professional or educated Indo males.

Indo Guyanes are a largely educated lot and that is reflected in their income and wealth accumulation. They stick to a proven strategy: Money goes where many is.

I am not saying that interracial marriages do not take place but a majority of Indo Guyanese woman in Canada are mainly marrying their own kind. That percentage will change in due course.
