Holy Cow, we better stock up on some more winter gear.
We had 18 inches of snow from Friday evening until Sunday 1:00 AM non stop. Blowing and drifting snow in some places...measured up to 30-36 inches.
My bay window is leaking rass. I think water is getting through the outside siding and finding a path to the downstairs window

Got a leak in the roof at the store, so I called the property manager who laughed at me. He said nobody coming at least till tomorrow.

Time to get out of there Skeldonman.
Hey, do you know Charles Voon?
And they never cleaned some of the side streets in Vaughan. It all turned to slush and then re-freeze. At least all the schools are open and train stations are back in business.

The water could be coming thru the flashing. It's a common problem.

Had a new roof put in Mits. Problem existed before the new roof. Flashing was replaced on the overhang roof also

Sometimes after years the walkway slopes toward the house, water runs off toward the wall and all it needs is to find a small crack..bingo.. leaks. When possible, walk around the house checking where the soil has eroded from the wall and build it up. Nothing should slope toward the house.
My buddy had a leak in his basement caused by one of the kids buckets lying against the basement window frame which had a slight hole, rain water filled the bucket which spilled over and into the crack. That costed him a bundle by the time it was caught.

You may need to cut a groove over where the old splashing was and resealed it properly. Sometimes the roofers are too lazy and would reuse the old groove.

Duck tape it. Watch the Red Green show and you will know how to fix anything with duck tape.

That Gafoor family been there since in the late 60's. So is Uncle Gabriel's family as well.
You guys probably are now accustomed to the snow 9 months per year.

Hey Chief, there was a Gafoor family living by the Estate Market ? Are they the same family ? Sayeeda Farzana (Zebbie) and Merzie were very beautiful young ladies during my young days.

Charles came here in 1968-1969, I think. There is and older sister who came here about the same time. The rest came after. I know Gabbie's family too. The older boy came here the same time I did. He brought the rest of them here....Amo, Chico etc.
