I have not seen the board been so active for awhile, hopefully cool heads prevail. As one can see we are all Guyanese at heart, although we are miles away. I can only wish the people in Guyana  have that freedom to be so vocal. It is funny, before election the political parties promises the Moon and Stars, and today many months after election now with a new government, Guyana is in the pits. Many of their supporters would say , give them time they are there Only 8 months, so What are they on Probation.

takes more than 8 months to correct 20 years of total mismanagement and crookishness

So you saying Bossman Amral did a horrible job and is crookish...

It takes a "special" person to come to this conclusion...but run with it if it cures your malady

My mistake, I misread the thread . But your response is a clear indication you should not be on admin board and allow to express your opinion .

You are like PNC dictator.

You should be suspended for saying - It takes a "special" person to come to this conclusion...but run with it if it cures your malady -  Malady is a sickness.

I hope Amral acts on this and make you an example.

Dude, I have nothing in common with you or the rest of these sub morons pretending they have something profound to say when nothing comes from your fingers but race baiting and comments laced with the usual stereotypical tints.  Guyana is doing fine.

Much of what were long term neglects are being addressed. Were it the PPP doing it none of you would have a complaint. Their 23 year tenure of as avaricious predators on the state assets did not move any of you one bit. It was your kind doing it so it was all right. Now that black folks are at the helm of the nation to, all everyone has become prophets of doom.

Just on honor alone those folks should be compelled to set an example. They inherited a state with not one industry breaking even and even. Unlike the PPP they do not rely on the Chinese patronage but have those predatory companies in check in logging, mining and in penetrating the local market as transport services and building. They are shutting down the drug lords and gold smuggling and soon the US will be there to help them on the money laundering side.I hope the continue doing the same thing. If the simply steal half as much as the PPP we will be two times ahead

Well..I can't be faulted for reacting to your conclusion that my statement implied that AMral had done a bad job and is crookish...it seemed so far out of left field, I really was concerned that something may be wrong with you...ergo my comment about you being "special" . For some foolish reason, I felt that you being wrong in your conclusion would "cure" whatever afflicted you.

Upon further examination, it seems you are of sound mind...so I withdraw my previous comments.

Hope this comforts you.

Have you ever heard the story of "the good Brahmin" by Voltaire? I think of his character, the old lady, when I think of Yugli

Hey brother Gil,

I don't cause anything to happen. It is the responsibility of each individual to act independently and in conformance to forum rules.

This is not a rum shop where people can behave badly and start cussing up.

In fact, in North America, Bouncers throw them out when they misbehave.

Posters need to follow rules and be punished for not following rules.

Alas the rules cannot save us from the inane or  tiresome wieners.

Not to get your blood boiling but that so called Bramhan asked an ignorant and useless question in that story:

"The same day I had a conversation with the old woman, his neighbor. I asked her if she had ever been unhappy for not understanding how her soul was made?"

Yuji:

The soul is never made, according to Krsna in Bhagavad Gita, the soul is unborn, eternal and does not die when the body dies.

The soul is a minute, eternal fragment of the super soul (Krsna).

That Bramhan is quite ignorant, he is a fake Bramhana like Mithun.

Good Night.

I thought by now you would have been fully recovered,  as we both were  in the same Asylum.. thought you forget...

As I said, I misread the thread, and your role as admin should be to correct us and not personally insult me, this response from you further drive home my point that you should not share your opinion as admin.

Unfortunately you still have a far way to fully recover, and I am happy you can rant behind a screen and no one can be physically injured by you.

I wish you all the best, in good health and strength, continue to take your treatment.

Good luck everyone, I did enjoy my time here.

They point is the brahmin admits to be ignorant of all sorts of things despite his 40 years of probing and instruction  hence his sadness! As I noted, you are the old lady, happy and content in your ignorance.

Guyana is in the pits.

How so?

Name me a new project this government has created that can employ 100 or more people since they took office. Look out soon they will have to devalue the currency, Sugar dead, Rice Dead, CRIME and SUICIDE UP, UP away.

First of all, all of the projects of the previous administration served one and only one purpose - the create opportunities for the personal acquisition of state wealth.

Second, the economy, built on air bubbles, has been unsound long before the change of government.

Third, none of the problems you list are new and have absolutely nothing to do with the new administration.
