I am not surprised at this news. There were hardly shoppers at their stores whenever I visited. Unlike Home Depot which always seemed busy.
Bad news for those Canadians losing their jobs.

Most of the stores closing is RONA, ( Loweâs bought out ) which makes sense.

Then that makes business sense because they had bought out Rona which was another deserted store.

Lowe announced in 2016 when it bought the Rona stores that by the end of 2018 indeed stores in some areas will be closed.
