My wife does make pepper sauce with cucumber...very tasty
Deelish and Nutrish!
Good product, this is a good way of reducing the hotness of Guyana's pepper. I recall that them 'stand' all over Guyana used to buy the left over cucumber from the market sellers at the end of the day and make 'sour' with it. The purpose was to stretch it because green mango and bilimbi (souriee) was expensive, so they develop a unique way of stretching the sour. Also a lot of hot pepper producers stretch their product by using squash, papaya etc.
Good to see more Guyanese products on the shelves.
We must support local products. Indians and Pakistanis support their local products and they seem to be doing quite well. We need to do the same for our local products.
