Manickchand should ‘cuss down’ her comrades for not calling Local Government Elections

We are appalled and disgusted at the cuss-down of the United States Ambassador Dr. Brendt Hardt by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Pyria Manickchand. Ms. Manickchand is not only a certified dunce at diplomacy but at everything she says and does. How dare the Minister visit the Ambassador’s home tocelebrate America’s Independence and insult him and the people of the United States. Does she not have time and place for her vulgarity?
We want to remind the people of Guyana that during the budget debate in April, Ms. Manickchand was both vulgar and abusive towards APNU MP Jaipaul Sharma. Her vulgarity was even more apparent when Speaker Raphael Trotman asked her to apologize and she refused. It is now clear to us that Ms. Manickchand has acquired the unofficial title of the PPP female cuss-down prototype of Jagdeo. Her behavior is reprehensible to say the least and is a very bad example for our children. Therefore, we call on all the parents of Guyana to demand her resignation as the Minister of Education.
It is evident that only an inept government such as the minority PPP regime does not understand how the US State Department conducts its foreign policy. Ambassador Hardt is not on a fishing trip by himself to make these bold statements. Let us make it very clear to Minister Manickchand that every single statement made by Ambassador Hardt has to be certified before he issues them. Unlike Ms. Manickchand who does not represent the people of Guyana, Ambassador Hardt represents the people and the United States Government. When he speaks, he does so on behalf of the United States Government and all Americans.
Ambassador Hardt’s call for Local Government elections is justified and accepted by 70 percent of Guyanese who believe in democracy. Not having Local Government elections for over 20 years is undemocratic and those at Freedom House who claim to believe in democracy are perfect hypocrites. How can they claim to believe in democracy and not call Local Government in 20 years? So if the Minister has any decency left, then she should cuss-down her comrades in the PPP for not calling the elections and not the Ambassador. We deemed her a disloyal servant of Guyana and Speaker Trotman and AFC Chairman Nigel Hughes are quite correct to say that she is a total disgrace to the nation and does not speak for the people of Guyana or for them. For anyone to display such obnoxious behavior is repugnant. We strongly believe that it was appropriate for the crowd to boo her mercilessly and relentlessly because she was truly out of place and rude. Who in their right and sound mind would go the U.S. Ambassador’s house and insult him; only Ms. Manichckand and her PPP rag-tag-puerile crew at Freedom House.
However, those who know the PPP are fully aware that she will be rewarded and not fired for displaying such vulgarity. At no time in the history of Guyana did a Minister of Education who is responsible for the discipline of our children display such boorish behavior. This is a party that has no morals and will go to extraordinary lengths to hide their corrupt and criminal practices. The PPP is not only corrupt financially and politically but also electorally. We call on President Ramotar to apologize to the people for not calling Local Government elections and to Ambassador Hardt for the cuss-down levelled on him by the uncouth Minister.
