You're grossly mistaken, my friend. The article which Bibi posted is dated 2014. Last year in this forum there were two photos showing a joint PPP-GAWU-WPO march to Anna Catherina cemetery for Kowsilla. This article marked her memory last year too. Every year since 1965, without fail, PPP-GAWU-WPO have religiously laid wreaths at Kowsilla's grave, rain or shine. Believe me.

We must never the struggles of Kowsilla, Sumintra and countless others who stoop up for working class rights. It may appear that there is an agenda to erase the contribution of these good souls.

You cannot rewrite history, the future means nothing if you don't know your past. One poster refuses to teach his children about Guyana's past leaders, well first you have to learn about them before you can teach about them.

Guyana a small country in South America has a wealth of history, just imagine she was once controlled by the Portuguese, Dutch,French and English. The names of several villages still stands to that test.

 Some leaders will be remembered for the good they did, others for their evil deeds. Even Old England sill celebrate Guy Fawkes day every 5th of November, although he was known as the man who wanted to blow up the parliament building.

This hypocrite doesn't rely on the dead to remind me of democracy when my freedom is ripped apart slowly. Since you lecture at PPP meetings you should make Kowsilla and Sumintra proud by empowering the people to stand up to Granger and face the fury. Democracy is the will of the people through the ballot. As of now the PNC won and the country appears to be maturing and respecting democracy.

Do you expect Indos to take up cutlasses to attack the government just because they lost the election ?
