Sooba was not paying those people who did not work or attend meetings.

Maybe when Green's wife pay her taxes, they will have more money to pay people.

The Green people did a bad job overall.  Green was a joke, and PPP helped him to be in that job for so long.

Some years there were funds unspent instead of fixing the place.

Did Green's people clean out all the phantoms on the payroll?  Whatever happened to the ghost companies from which Council was buying computers, etc.

Maybe she has seen the writing on the wall and trying to deflect the corruption, which everyone believes, is just as endemic in city hall as it is in parliament, from her. Nice try though.

Question 1:  Why did Green's wife not pay her rates and taxes for many years?

Question 2:  What did Sooba do to get Green's wife to pay?

The Auditor general should identify and name all those  who have not paid their property taxes. The list, I think, will be an interesting one. Then, they should be made to pay up with interest for arrears.
