What would you like to see on the agenda for the meeting with the Opposition Party and the President of Guyana on January 9, 2019.

I would like to see a (1) request for the President to dissolve Parliament;

(2) Set date for Election within 90 from December 21,2018.

(3) GECOM preparedness. No extension should be granted because this will give the Government and GECOM more time to put their rigging apparatus into gear. This Government has shown that it cannot be trusted because it will do anything to retain and abuse power. A good example is to look and see what they are doing with NCV and their new math - delaying tactics to run till 2020.

That is my take, what’s yours.

When BJ called the sleepwalking President to propose this meeting, the Prez ask him why he wanted to meet.  I don't think this man realize that his government was toppled.

They should just set a date for election and move on with the business of the country.  After March 20th the country will be without a government. The PNC is proud of their record for the last three years so they should have no problem winning a free and fair election.

Granger has been a weak leader all along. The coalition is in the mess because of this. He takes no firm position one way or another.  Now even in the end, he accepted until the extremists and desperate got to him and now he also wonders if 33 > < 32.  For a military man, I’m really surprised.

You can say what you want of BJ, him taking charge is why the PPP is back.

On a sidebar, his response to the Ramson issue was mature and well handled.  He did the right thing at this moment in time.

Dondadda, in my view ...

1. There is no need to request that parliament to be dissolved. That is a given in December with the defeat of the government -  33 -vs- 32 vote.

Agreed with your points 2 and 3.

The meeting is an official one to document and record what actions the president will take after the discussions.
