Men are dogs, yet women marries to them. A week long Facebook sensation gives people a lot to talk about around the world. India has many traditions and beliefs that it is incomprehensible for non-Indians or non-believers. Not long ago, an Indian man married to a dog for the same reason as this young woman. India is once again in the spotlight after the shortage of brides for men due to massive abortion of girl babies and other factors facing India.

An 18-year-old Indian girl has married a stray dog as part of a tribal ritual designed to ward off an evil spell.

Mangli Munda, from a remote village in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, wed the canine in a lavish ceremony.

The dog look very depressed and should be protected from human rituals. If she intends to have sexual intercourse with the dog, that would be animal cruelty.

Django and Cobs, a dog has advanced senses of hearing and smell which we humans lack. A dog's ears can pick up sound waves that a human ear cannot.

When I was growing up, our family dog and the neighbouring dogs used to howl in unison around midnight, a blood-curdling and eerie sound. My mother said "dem daag ah see jumbie."

I don't know if they actually saw the ghostly forms but I suppose they heard the strange vibrations floating around at that midnight hour.

Your mother was correct. I have done extensive research regarding this matter.

I have also experienced some interesting incidents but that is for another time and place.

Gilly,i had four dogs they were great for protection

i experience the howling at midnight,heard the same

the see jumbie.

Gilly, I have a female friend who said all men are dogs due to her rocky relationship with her husband. They're now divorced and still living in the same house as friends (not sleeping in the same bed). They also have two teenage sons who don't care much of their dad. Only mom make all decisions and hold the check book. What can you add to this situation?
