The National Archives needs plenty professional and technical and technological help. Good to see a little contribution from Mexico. The Netherlands is also helping to preserve the records of the Dutch period 1667-1803.

Hopefully the Indentureship records are included.

We offered to digitized the indentureship records for free. The PPP did not give a damn.

i went there to the archives once, they could not find what should have been there. When they found the newspaper series, the pages were removed from the newspaper....someone cut them out with a razor blade. They need to secure the information also.

Convenient amnesia. I initially mapped out the task so we can break down the the processes into manageable units to determine costs and time it will take. I even promise to conscript archivists from among my friends who were willing to add their long experience in the field to help us bring the project to fruition. Yes, being infatuated with six sigma then I was eager beaver to apply every facet of TQM to the task. I moved away early in the process because Guyanese  never ever work collaboratively.  Jansher and Kidmost tried for another few years with BK and they went on their own path. I believe on that simple project BK went on to become an expert on the subject and probably knows more of it than most. Indeed my input was minimal but I was there nevertheless.
