The quarter-finals of this year’s Milo 18 and under Schools Football Competition opens today with two exciting encounters at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, starting at 13:00hrs.
In the opening game, Bishop’s High take on Sir Leon Lessons and this will be followed by the clash between Morgan’s Learning Centre and Carmel.
For Bishop’s High, Imran Khan, Keron Niles, Tyrone Singh and Tyrese Souvenir are the key players on whose performance the hopes of advancing will depend on, while Sir Leon Lessons ambitions to get to the championship game rest on the shoulders of Adrian Aaron, Meshach Barratt, Tyrese Forde and Amonick Muir.
In the other game, Morgan’s Learning Centre will be relying on the services of Leon Richardson, Osafo Mattheson, Alistair Frank, Carl Griffith, Orin Moore and Daniel Nedd to bolster their chances of moving on, while Carmel’s will depend on how well players such as Darron Niles, Romel Maxwell, Shaquille Baptiste, Ryan Fredericks, Shawn Harvey, Stefon Duke and Romel Smith combine.
The fixtures for today are: 13:00 hrs- Bishop’s High School v/s Sir Leon Lessons 15:00 hrs – Morgan Learning Centre v/s Carmel Secondary School
Meanwhile, action in the competition resumes tomorrow with two more matches planned at the same venue.
