10 finalists named in the quest for Miss World Guyana Pageant

58

In about three weeks, beauty, intelligence and charm will transcend to the Marriott Hotel as 10 young ladies will compete for the Miss World Guyana title. At the end of the competition, however, only one delegate will get the opportunity to represent Guyana on the international stage.
The final 10 delegates were selected after rigorous preliminary competitions from a pack of 14. The delegates were all assigned various regions to represent on the grand coronation night billed for June 25.
These include Miss Region One (Barima-Waini), Delisha Wright; Miss Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), Sharda Pramdeo; Miss Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara), Hemwantie Seodat; Miss Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica), Vena Mookram; Miss Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice), Joelly Valentine; Miss Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne), Thamesha Watson; Miss Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni), Arielle Ghanie; Miss Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni), Crystal Wills; Miss Region Nine (Upper Takatu-Upper Essequibo), Manisha Wong; and Miss Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice), Nitifah Thompson.
The delegates were sashed at an event hosted by Jamicia McCallman held at the Giftland Mall on May 26. The evening also saw a new collection by Designer, Marcie De Santos.
However, on the evening of the pageant, the delegates will be competing in several segments including evening gown and intelligence but more importantly, the finalists will present their beauty with a purpose project.

He looks like a guy called Deoraj who was hired to dance at my aunt's 80 b'day on May 27. Not sure if it's the same person.

Joel Ghansham.

Looks like he can outdo the women dressing and putting on his make up. I am sure he is "funny in the butt".

He is a shemale. Dresses up in Saris and the like.

Nah, if you meet Deoraj off stage, he is a normal guy.  I saw this guy on TV in Guyana hosting a show.  He dress up just like that even off stage!

Like you want to dress up like him and look like an antiman.

I agree, that why i used the term "augment".  I see about three I would chose, but to decide, I want something more qualitative and substantive!  All what you said, yes they must have that first to get to the front line!
