I am not a Canadian, but if I were to vote, I would vote for a Sikh over a Guyanese. Based on my observation in New York, Sikhs are very cooperative, dedicated and helpful within their community. I am sure if someone within the Sikh community is running for public office in U.S. or Canada, they will deliver on their promise.

Are Canadians open to voting for a turban-wearing Sikh?

Gil,

I am Conservative Canadian and am qualified to comment.

First, I am to assume that you are referring to the NDP.

Second, I only voted Liberal once in my lifetime. I do not see myself ever voting NDP.

Third, NDP does not stand a chance of winning a Federal Election for many years to come and furthermore, I cannot see Canadians voting for a Turban Wearing Sikh.

Straight from the Hip.

Sikh doan give a rats ass for anybody. They are cliquish, lack of decent behaviour for any democracy, they let their prejudices show in public. The Sikh guy who was the Premier of BC was elected NDP leader and Premier only because the sikhs overwhelmingly joined the NDP just to vote a sikh in. When that same politician later joined the Federal Liberals, the sikh did exactly the same thing. They joined the Liberals in large numbers just to get the nomination for the Liberal seat.

They seem to be only interested in the achievements of a sikh. Always thinking of the first sikh to do this or to do that. Their organization tracks the world wide political achievements of sikhs.

Besides, I feel Jagmeet does not meet the dressing standards of a White Country.

These blasted immigrants goanna cause deep shite in this wonderful country.

Consider UK and the Punjabs. In one dey fookup the Brits and the other they fookup the Hindus.
