As I have been saying all along, the afc/pnc coalition are heavily involved in activities in the money laundering arena. That is why they will block this bill to ensure that Guyana gets black listed and financial transaction with international banks becomes restrictive. The bulk of their campaign funds are sourced from money laundering activities. They do not want to jeapordize this important source of funds so they will let the rest of Guyana punish. This is a win win situation for Ramjattan, Granger et al. Their supporters will put up with the punishment as they are famous for this during the PNC/afc, they prefer to eat shine rice and punish.  However there will be backlash once their remittance checks become smaller due to punative fees by overseas money transfer agencies in complaince with the blacklisting.
