Salary of new GUYSUCO CEO is a highly guarded secret β Source
By Kurt Campbell
[www.inewsguyana.com] β Among much speculation that the Guyana Agricultural and General Workers Union (GAWU) is not in total agreement with the appointment of Dr. Rajendra Singh as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GUYSUCO), a source from within has confirmed that the contract of Singh, particularly his salary is now being kept a guarded secret.
The source told iNews that little and in some cases no information is fed to the Union in relation to Singhβs contract which has raised the curiosity of several members. iNews was informed that the Union is anticipating the commencement of Singhβs tenure as CEO so that his performance can be assessed further.
When contacted by iNews for a comment on the matter, President of the Union, Komal Chand did not want to speak on the issue. He told iNews that GAWU will issue a statement.
Dr. Singh is currently the Chairman of GUYSUCO and will be taking over from the current CEO, Paul Bhim.
The government has for some time now been adumbrating the point that changes would be made to the board and as such Dr. Singhβs appointment is seen as a wider effort to review the composition of the board and everyday management.

Problems persist at Skeldon factory
β¦despite pricey rehab works
MARCH 9, 2014
The Guyana Sugar Cor-porationβs (GuySuCo) two-year working relationship with South African firm Bosch Engineering is nearing an end, but problems persist despite the additional US$30 million spent to rehabilitate the troubled US$110 million Chinese-built Skeldon factory.
Stabroek News was told that representatives from Bosch were in Guyana in February, reviewing the six projects they were hired to complete. This publication was told that Bosch has not finished work on the bagasse plough and that one of the primary conveyers is still malfunctioning.
Thios is a deliberate plot by PPP to steal the assets of Guysuco. Keep a close eye on this development.
The Corrupt PPP/C does not want Guysuco to run at a Profit, meaning that if Guysuco run at a loss, years after years then they will have a good excuse to sell Guysuco to one of their friends and or family.
How much more corrupt can they get?

That is the plan Mr ASJ
Guysuco is a cash cow for the PPP tiefmen. Bailout money by the billions every year going down the drain.
