(Eyewitness)It’s pathetic as to how the more things change, the more they remain the same. If we knew French like Rupert Roopnaraine, we’d say “plus Ça change, plus c’est la mÊme chose”. We’re talking about politics this time. But we don’t, so we won’t.  But more specifically, its about politics in the PNC – APNU. The (un)musical chairs that Granger unleashed in Parliament is the same old, tired and cynical game his mentor Burnham used to play.

The bottom line, of course, is to have only “yes” men and women around the leader – little saplings over whom the “great man” can tower like a “samaan tree”. Now we can understand the needs of some insecure minds to play these games…but supporters of the PNC have to ask, is it good for their future prospects? Aren’t the saplings going to wither without any sunlight?

How can you have a viable party that has thrown out all the “young lions” ….now getting long in the tooth out in the wilderness?

the little quote in french does not make the post above meaningful. It is shallow, and accusatory and completely lacking in relevance except as another inflammatory act of mudslinging by the PPP.

It appears Granger has total control over the APNU  parliamentarians, if they dare to think outside the box, he will either recall them or without notice, place them in the back benches.

Indeed he should. Our electoral system is a closed list system. Parliamentarians are creatures of the party leader. If you need that changed I am with you on that account. It ought to be competition on a constituency level with direct representation

Meanwhile...it is what we have. If one PPP members vote with the opposition...he/she is history. It is the reason all votes are on party line so quit the useless bitching.

If any member dare to even abstain from voting, they may feel the full wrath of Granger, Vanessa Kissoon according to a source, is being targeted for the support she gave to Norton, her fellow Lindener. The "small crew" is witch hunting out of congress place.

And indeed that should be the case. They should inform the party of their absence since there is but a one seat majority and in the event of an issue, as the health tourism hospital, which the opposition is against, the absence of a voting member can be of serious consequence as we saw with the hospital.

There appears to be much in-fighting within the APNU, there are reports by insiders of a very active "small crew" at congress place, who has hijacked their political gathering.

how small is this crew? Is it less than 15 that is the number in the PPP inner sanctum or coven? Is less than 5 a small number since that is usual the number that makes the crucial decisions ie selecting hapless presidents like Ramotar or no good larcenous fellows like Jagdeo? Please inform us of the size of this small crew so we may compare and contrast and update our insight where necessary.

Beware

If you think that Burnham was bad, this man will be worse than Burnham.

Remember who helped Burhnam to steal the people's vote and rig elections ?
