Eight more wells has been handed over to the residents of South Rupununi. It is my fervent hope that this is just not only a publicity stunt. 

Let's hope that those wells serve the people.  Because, in Guyana things are know for constant breakdown, due to ill maintenance.  

While building such essential services is important, constant maintenance is equally important.  Therefore, spare parts and properly trained personnel must be readily available to keep those eight wells functioning in an efficient manner.
